Wedding Wedding Wedding!
OMG, like more than half my childhood friends are married. Ok, it's actually less than half, but Tonny is married, and in a few weeks Zsh will be married as well. It's like a resurge of the summer when 7 people I knew before seminary got engaged. Most of them are now married.
Tonny's wedding was beautiful. Elisheva was my date. Which was nice since I needed to borrow her shirt to go with Lori's skirt. The shmorg was nice, mostly meat, but some veggies. Tzivia was beautiful. For all of you who have never met her/seen her, she's tiny. She was also very excited and has a lot of energy. Tonny was shuffled out past the front doors at one point to daven mincha. Rabbi W. led the wedding ceremony. Tonny's cousins sang under the chuppah. It was just so very beautiful. We had to go down to the room we were eating in. I'm totally blanking on the technical term here. It was so pretty. I don't know if you're getting this, but it was pretty. I met lots of people. sof, it was just great. I'm glad I was able to make it!
My life has been a whirl wind since I got here. Shabbos I slept a ton. It was like my jet lag up and hit me. Motzash we had Lori's shower. Yummy yummy soup + pita makes a happy Rivkah. Not to mention cookie brittle. I got some good pictures of Lori opening presents.
Tonight was sheva brochos for Tonny. He and Tzivia are a very cute and very happy couple. It was great to go and see a lot of the Schwarzmer clan. In some cases I even got to put name to faces.
As for now, I need to go. I'm so shiverry my insides are quivering.
